ABOUT THIS ROLE
Summary
The management accountant will take responsibility for the commercial and internal reporting aspects of finance within the UK & Ireland team.
Working alongside both the local Finance Manager and overseas based finance functions the role will look to support decision-making and drive financial excellence across the organisation.
As well as providing value-add support to the business the role will also look to provide further back-up to the control function provided by the finance team in producing and supporting reconciliation activities
Key Duties
Prepare the finance month end packs including the Pre-EBIT, Management Accounts and Forecast view
Assist in the monthly forecast round
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and associated controls
Prepare selected month end balance sheet reconciliations for review by the Finance Manager to be used for Corporate submission.
Support the finance team in both the internal and external audit cycles.
Provide analytical/insightful variance analysis to the senior management/parent entity
Required/Desired Experience & Skillset
Qualified (Or actively studying part qualified) Accountant (ideally CIMA/ACCA)
Experience of preparing management accounts
Forecast modelling skills (ideally a working knowledge of Cognos)
Ability to manage and interpret large data sets
Proficiency in MS Excel (Ideally also MS Access)
Financial Services sector experience

Ria Money Transfer offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated pay for this role ranges from
(45,000-55,000).
