Management Accountant

Full time position

We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic qualified accountant to join our finance team as a Management Accountant. The role will focus on preparing management information to support strategic decision making across an international group while also providing the opportunity to take a lead on planned project rollouts throughout the business. You will be working within a fast-paced, dynamic and supportive environment with a drive towards innovation and optimisation across the finance function.

The opportunity is based in our London head office and offers the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.

Key Duties Include:

Prepare timely and accurate monthly consolidated management accounts with a particular focus on the profit or loss.

Deliver insightful analysis, including KPIs, and reporting to support strategic and operational decision making.

Take ownership of accurate and efficient month-end processes

Assist with VAT returns across multiple tax jurisdictions, including the UK and the group's overseas subsidiaries in Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, and Ireland

Support with setting and approving annual budgets and forecasts that align with the group's objectives.

Tracking monthly performance against budgets and investigating variances with the relevant budget holders.

Supervise and mentor accounts assistants and ledger clerks within the finance team to support their development and ensure ledgers remain up to date and accurate.

The Ideal Candidate:

ACA/ACCA qualified with experience from a top 10 accountancy firm.

Proven analytical skills with an appreciation of processes and controls to provide accurate and timely financial information.

Proactive and opportunity led mindset with a desire to take ownership of tasks to develop and progress professionally.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to comfortably lead communications with a range of departments across the business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-50,000.00 per year
