About the Role




As a Management Accountant at Oritain, you will be instrumental in delivering the financial insights that empower our organisation to make confident, informed decisions. You'll shape the reporting and analysis that fuel performance and growth, while ensuring we remain fully compliant with statutory and tax requirements.


You'll maintain accurate historical reporting to guiding forecasting and long-term planning that supports the future of our business.






Key Responsibilities



Financial Leadership & Insight




You will take ownership of month-end and year-end cycles, including the preparation of group management accounts, consolidation and statutory reporting. You'll support strategic decision-making by providing timely, reliable analysis that brings clarity and drives strong performance outcomes.


As a key contributor to our budgeting and forecasting processes, you'll help ensure sustainable investment and growth. You'll also uphold strong governance across the group, maintaining robust financial controls and leading seamless external audits.




Performance Excellence




This role is central to monitoring results and enhancing accountability across the organisation. You'll actively identify risks and opportunities, ensuring we stay aligned with our financial targets, and exceed them wherever possible.


You'll champion continuous improvement, looking for smarter ways to work through enhancements in systems, processes and reporting. Maximising returns on investment will be a focus too, particularly through thoughtful capital expenditure governance and performance evaluation.




Team Contribution & Collaboration




You'll play a valued role within the finance team, supporting others to build their capability and succeed together. Collaboration is key, and you'll work closely with colleagues across the business to provide clear, proactive financial guidance that supports decision-making at every level.

Skills & Experience





You'll bring a professional accounting qualification (such as CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and a relevant degree or diploma in finance, accounting or a related field. You'll be confident delivering high-quality financial outputs in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure.


Strong communication skills will help you build trust and influence across the organisation, while your constructive, solutions-focused approach enables you to navigate challenges effectively. You'll also bring a continuous improvement mindset, ideally with experience using LEAN or similar methodologies to streamline processes and lift performance.
