Job Description

Due to continued expansion, Quest Personal Care Global are looking for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join our business.

The ideal candidate will be currently working in an FMCG environment. We are a leading innovative manufacturer and distributor of beauty, skin care , cosmetics and personal care products, exporting to over 92 countries world wide so experience from a similar industry is essential to assist the Financial Director and his team to best support the business through our growth.

The role is primarily dealing with all things stock related, but with a focus on accounting transactions. So the ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience, with interactions with warehousing/transport being desirable.

Role and Responsibilities for the position of Management Accountant

Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements Support the calculation and reconciliation of landed costs and stock valuations Maintain accurate records of income, expenditure, assets, and liabilities Assist with variance analysis Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards Help maintain and improve internal financial controls and procedures Process journals and assist with month-end and year-end close activities Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Participate in cost analysis and margin reviews Work collaboratively with the finance team on ad hoc projects and reporting Provide cover and support to the finance team as required

Strong financial and inventory analysis skills High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and compliance Proactive problem solver with strong process ownership Effective communicator across finance, operations, and warehouse teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data modelling Proficient in SAP ideally

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred 2-4 years of experience in cost analysis, or financial reporting Hands-on experience with landed cost calculation and supply chain cost drivers is essential Industry experience in beauty, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) is highly desirable
