We're seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to lead an efficient and accurate month-end close process, implement and monitor robust internal financial controls, support a smooth and timely UK audit, and drive continuous improvement across the financial control environment.

What you'll be doing:

Produce accurate month-end management accounts Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations to audit standards, including intercompany accounts Review and post recurring and non-recurring monthly journals Provide monthly reporting and variance analysis for the management team Ensure correct accounting and capitalisation of fixed assets in line with group policy Support business partners with budgets, forecasts, and other ad hoc tasks Assist with UK group audits and statutory account preparation Respond to auditor and tax queries Carry out other ad hoc duties as required

Do you have what it takes?

CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified/qualified by experience Proven industry experience in management accounting, statutory accounts, and large-scale reconciliations Previous experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a large, multi-site business Strong SAP Finance module knowledge and advanced Excel skills Track record of improving financial controls and supporting IT developments Strong interpersonal skills with a hands-on, team-focused attitude Commercially aware, with the ability to influence and support wider business goals High integrity, strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset
