Management Accountant
Location: Norwich
Salary: 38,000 - 45,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full-time, Office-Based
A highly respected and growing organisation in Norfolk is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team. The Role
Reporting into the senior finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of management information to support strategic decision-making across the business. You will play a key role in improving systems and processes, and in offering financial insight to support operational and commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities
Preparation of full monthly Management Accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet)
Production of monthly KPIs and margin analysis, with accompanying commentary
Financial support for the operational team to aid business decision-making
Month-end journal posting, including accruals and prepayments
Reconciliation of intercompany balances and preparation of quarterly recharges
Completion of balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets
Management of the fixed asset register
Process improvement recommendations and implementation
VAT return preparation and payroll reconciliations
Support with both internal and external audit requirements
Contribution to year-end returns and tax analysis for P11Ds and PSA submissions
Cash management including treasury functions, bank reconciliations, and payment approvals
Assistance in preparing annual statutory accounts
Ad hoc financial reporting and project work as required

Key Requirements
ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
Previous experience in management accounting within a fast-paced commercial environment
Exposure to multi-currency ledgers and foreign exchange advantageous
Experience using an ERP system like SAP, Oracle, Netsuite or Cognos
Strong Excel and general IT skills essential
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams
