About the Role



We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our dynamic software company on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional looking for a flexible working arrangement while making a significant impact in a growing technology business.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will play a crucial role in our finance operations, working alongside our Credit Control/Sales Ledger Specialist to ensure the financial health and compliance of our organisation. The successful candidate will enjoy considerable autonomy and the opportunity to shape financial processes within our company.

Key Responsibilities



The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing comprehensive management accounts that provide critical insights to support business decision-making. You will oversee the preparation of year-end accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you will manage the accounts payable function, processing invoices efficiently and maintaining excellent relationships with our suppliers through timely payment management. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing financial analysis and reporting to help drive the company's strategic direction.

Candidate Requirements



The ideal candidate will be ACCA, CIMA, or AAT qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a management accounting role. You should demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Working Arrangements



This position offers genuine flexibility to suit your lifestyle and commitments. The role requires 20 hours per week, to be worked Monday through Friday, with the specific schedule tailored to suit the successful candidate. Remuneration



30,000 per annum FTE - pro-rata (16,000 per annum)

Holidays: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays pro-rata based on working hours

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.38 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
