Frontline Group is made up of Frontline, Seymour, Gold Key Media and Routes to Retail. We're the UK's leading retail sales, marketing and distribution company working predominantly in the exciting and diverse areas of publishing and home entertainment.


Our key clients include publishers of iconic magazine brands such as Radio Times, Good Housekeeping, TV Choice, Heat, Top Gear, Grazia, Vogue, Slimming World, Cosmopolitan, Empire, National Geographic and 100's more. We also work with major film studios managing their DVD presence within the grocery retail channel and are growing our reach in categories such as books and music with further category expansions on the horizon.


As a Distributor we work closely with UK and International retailers, wholesale, International Distributors and other parts of the supply chain to ensure our client's sales, retail marketing and distribution objectives are met. Through our brand targeting and audience engagement agency Gold Key Media we develop sampling and marketing solutions, and we manage brand placement activities in the events, travel and hospitality sectors across the world.

About the Role

Do you enjoy the buzz of a busy and varied month end, from checking that systems and data are ready for invoicing and revenue calculation, through to analysing variances, through to producing reports for key stakeholders? If so send us your application, you could be our next management accountant!

Job Opportunity

The role covers a variety of management accountant tasks including:

Critical month end systems processes Creating and posting journals, accruals and prepayments, Working with budget holders and product specialists to create annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.

Outside of the month end and forecasting cycle your role will include:

Ad hoc project work Balance sheet reconciliations Audit support Opportunities to cross cover with other members of the team and the wider group to broaden your experience.

You won't need extensive management accounts experience, 18 - 24 months should give you enough grounding for this role and ideally you will be studying for an accountancy qualification, for which you will receive study support.

Build effective business relationships Work under pressure from time to time and deliver to strict deadlines Be confident with Excel and systems in general Be a flexible, resilient, team player Utilise your initiative, attention to detail and natural curiosity to deliver excellent service to your stakeholders

Our Company operates an informal hybrid work structure once you are settled into your role, and as part of this we encourage Finance team attendance in the office on Wednesdays alongside another day.
