About the role;

As one of our Management Accountants you would be taking ownership of accounting and management accounts for the UK company, its trading subsidiaries (US, Australia, Netherlands), and holding companies within the Private Equity group structure. Working with our newly implemented ERP system, Netsuite, to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting and collaborating with multiple people in a fast paced environment.

What you'll do;

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including maintaining fixed asset registers, prepayments, accruals, intercompany reconciliations, and posting journals. Oversee bookkeeping to ensure reconciled trial balances and P&L, manage intercompany, payroll, and recharges, and approve multi-currency payment runs while actively managing cash requirements. Support and mentor Finance Associates, address queries, and assist in their professional development. Play a key role in year-end audits, liaise with external accountants and payroll providers across multiple regions, and collaborate with internal HR and payroll teams. Identify and resolve issues, improve processes cross-functionally, and contribute to ongoing finance projects.

Our ideal candidate;

You will have proven experience as a Management Accountant. Ideally you would be a fully qualified, or part-qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent by experience. Confident using Microsoft suite, specifically excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration. Be highly motivated, organised, and detail-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement. Experience with US/AUS payroll and Netsuite is advantageous but not essential.
