Tilted Needle is a fast-growing social media and content production agency working with global brands, luxury developers, and top personalities. We create cinematic short-form videos and manage full social campaigns that drive measurable growth. We're now looking for a Management Accountant to professionalize our financial operations, streamline internal processes, and provide data-driven clarity to management.

Role Overview

You'll be responsible for setting up a clear financial framework for Tilted Needle -- including bookkeeping, management reporting, and accounting process design. This role goes beyond basic bookkeeping: it requires someone technically advanced in accounting systems, automation, and reporting who can help us scale efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and maintain accurate bookkeeping using accounting software (e.g., Xero or QuickBooks). Create a clear internal financial framework -- invoicing, approvals, expense tracking, and P&L management. Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow statements, and profitability reports. Identify inefficiencies and iron out financial processes across the company. Manage payroll, supplier payments, and reconciliations. Support the CEO with financial forecasting, pricing models, and scenario planning. Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and tax obligations (VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax). Work closely with leadership to design and improve internal controls and approval processes.

Requirements

Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Strong understanding of management accounting and financial analysis. Experience in creative agencies, media, or startups preferred. Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets, accounting software (Xero/QuickBooks), and reporting tools. Process-driven mindset with ability to simplify and automate financial workflows. Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
