Management Accountant
Location: Cannock| Full-Time | Hybrid | Up to 37k | Study Support |
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a real impact? We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our clients finance team and take ownership of key profit and loss areas. If you are passionate about driving business performance through insightful financial reporting and analysis, this could be the ideal role for you.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of key profit and loss areas, ensuring accurate financial reporting through timely journal postings.
  • Deliver accurate financial data within set deadlines to support decision-making.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial insight and commercial understanding.
  • Provide analysis and commentary on variances against budget, forecast, and prior year performance.
  • Support gross margin analysis, identifying trends and key drivers.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations, identifying any financial risks or opportunities.
  • Support the year-end audit process, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Review and improve existing finance processes and reporting methods.
  • Assist with additional reporting and in-depth analysis as required.
About You:
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or studying towards / Part- Qualified ACCA/CIMA.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive and inquisitive mindset.
  • Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
