We are looking to recruit an Management Accountant to join our Finance Team. This is an exciting role in the business and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to learn and achieve personal growth within a fast paced business.
What's the opportunity?
The Management Accountant is responsible for directly assisting Senior Management accountant, to produce, timely, accurate monthly management accounts and departmental reports to strict deadlines; cash reporting and assist in preparing company budgets.
What does the role involve?
Assist the Senior management accountant in the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for the Senior Leadership Team
Analysis and review of detailed P&L accounts with narrative against budget and prior year
P&L reviews for actuals and budget, attend and take lead in quarterly reviews with responsible head office budget holders
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and timely resolve of issues as appropriate
Production of weekly management reports (bookings and deliveries) for issue to senior managers and Directors
Accurately and reliably producing key information and financials
Develop a strong working relationship within the finance team to jointly achieve key goals
Accruals and prepayments
Assist with Cash reporting and Treasury management
Assist Senior management accountant with other projects and ad-hoc tasks
Who are we looking for?
CIMA/ACCA Qualification or equivalent, will consider AAT or CIMA part qualified if also have relevant experience.
Analytical with a methodical approach to problem solving
Broad range of skills acquired through academic studies, work experience to date
Proactive with strong organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Advanced MS Excel skills
Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels
Ability to prioritise workload to achieve tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
