Responsibilities
Produce financial and business performance data for the business divisions, monthly and ad hoc
Month-end ledger closing routines, analysis, and production of the management accounts, ensuring they are produced to the standards required and within published timetables
Compile monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Compile monthly PAYE, CIS, Quarterly VAT returns and National Statistics submissions
Monthly analysis of PAYE settlement agreement in preparation for the annual return and submission.
Compilation of data to support external and internal audit requirements and other information required by Group for year-end reporting.
Assist in the Monthly analysis of Project Accounting.
Overhead reviews with budget managers
Assist in gathering and analysis of information to compile the annual budgets
Ensure appropriate procedure notes are maintained, updated, and documented for defined areas of responsibility
Monthly Debenture reporting to Financial Institution
Owner of Fixed assets Register and aligning with Asset Tracking system as well as depreciation posting
Holiday cover, which may include Accounts Payable and Payroll
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your line manager
Skills & Qualifications
Part qualified/Qualified CIMA/Qualified by experience
At least 5 years' experience as a Management Accountant
Experience of working within the manufacturing industry
Good communication skills verbally and in writing.
Highly competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
