The role

Arrow XL is currently recruiting for a

Management Accountan

t to join our finance team in Wigan. Supporting the Head of Management Accounts and helping to train the Assistant Management Accountants, this role will offer great experience to join a highly qualified finance team with a continued focus on development.

Key responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts to a strict deadline Balance sheet reconciliations Produce and post journals Assist with maintaining the Fixed Asset Register Variance reporting Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts Preparation of quarterly VAT returns Ad Hoc duties

What you will need

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience working within a multimillion-pound turnover business and be ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified or part qualified

or qualified by experience.

Strong communication skills Strong time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities Strong Excel skills (e.g. SUMIF, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IndexMatch) Strong eye for detail and accuracy Able to act in a professional manner to the benefit of the company and always maintain confidentiality
