Job Description

We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our Transportation team based in Easton Lane, Winchester. This role blends core Accounting with commercial insight and systems improvement.

Location

: Easton Lane, Winchester - travel to the office required with some remote working available

Hours

: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

Salary

: 36,000 - 40,000 per year + benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As a Management Accountant, you'll assist the team with financial reporting, commercial finance, and data analysis.



Your day to day will include:


Ensuring accurate revenue and cost recognition and delivering meaningful site-level P&L and margin analysis. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Raising purchase orders and dealing with supplier queries. Monitor and analyse costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements as well as attend CVR reviews ensuring a true cost value position is understood.

What are we looking for?

This role of Management Accountant is great if you:


Are Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Can demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to meet deadlines while working independently and at times collaboratively within a team. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
