This Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Accounting & Finance department within a not-for-profit organisation. This temporary position in York is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong financial expertise and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in managing budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes.
• Oversee financial records to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Support the Accounting & Finance department in month-end and year-end processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
• Provide insightful analysis to aid strategic decision-making within the organisation.
• Assist in the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

A successful Management Accountant should have:
