An opportunity has arisen to join the Accounting + Advisory team as a Manager.
Who we are looking for:
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has significant accounts experience, managing a portfolio of SME and limited company clients, as well as managing an established accounts team.
What the role involves:
Managing client relationships, being responsible for our Accounting + Advisory service delivery om the clients within your portfolio
Working for a number of portfolio holders you will be expected to manage deadlines, prioritise your workload and spot opportunities to add vale to clients
Being a trusted Adviser to our clients.
Review of accounts in accordance with FRS102 and FRS102-1a, for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders both in-house and at clients' premises for a wide range of industries.
Review of management accounts, cash flow forecasts and projections using various software packages both in-house and on site.
Preparing complex forecasts reports and other adhoc reports as necessary
Review of corporate tax returns and review of computations.
Consideration of income and other personal tax implications at accounts preparation stage.
Supervising and training team members and being a mentor for apprentices and advisers.
Assisting the Partners, directors and other managers with project-based work and the strategic development of the team.
Your development
We provide a complementary range of learning opportunities to ensure that you maximise your potential in areas such as becoming a trusted adviser, how to network, presentation skills etc with opportunities for progression around the firm. These will comprise personal effectiveness as well as your technical skills.
We have 6 monthly performance review conversations to ensure your development is on track, with optional monthly 1-2-1s. You will also have the opportunity to work with a mentor.
We also encourage you to get involved in wider firm initiatives and have your say on how we can progress on our journey towards being the best North-West firm of finance professionals.
