This is an 18-month Fixed Term Contract in Compliance Audit. As you will be working closely with the existing team and Compliance Audit Senior Manager, Alan, regular monthly (minimum) travel to our Liverpool office will be essential.



Working within the team, you will play a critical role in providing assurance that organisations receiving grant have met all of Homes England's requirements and funding conditions. You will be joining our enthusiastic, friendly, and highly skilled team, who are committed to making positive change in how we deliver compliance audit and report on progress and outcomes.



We are all dedicated to delivering a first-class customer service and taking an innovative and creative approach to compliance across the Affordable Housing programme portfolio. The team led by Alan values diversity in experience and perspective, to foster good decision making and problem solving within their team.



This is a rare chance to shape the future approach towards compliance within the agency, working with key stakeholders and a highly professional and supportive team you will ensure efficient, consistent, and effective management of risk and have the opportunity to help promote compliance culture.



The role will support the design and delivery of key elements of the compliance audit framework. There are some exciting and ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to risk management.

Whilst our day job is to ensure the timely accurate and efficient delivery of the Compliance Audit programme, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.



You're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, used to balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a sharp focus on quality and delivery. You understand the importance of timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of the Compliance Audit programme, and you're always looking for new ways to improve processes and drive innovation.



You will bring a good understanding of delivery processes and be eager to deepen your knowledge of the Capital Funding Guide (CFG) and other regulatory frameworks that support the Affordable Homes Programme (AHP). You'll be willing to develop your understanding of Homes England systems and processes, including grant conditions, CFG requirements, and other regulatory obligations.



You'll be an excellent communicator showing ability for translating complex policy and regulatory guidance into easily to understand language. You work analytically and with a keen attention to detail, able to plan across competing priorities and deliver on multiple workstreams at pace.



You'll bring resilience, a collaborative spirit, and a pragmatic mindset. You'll take a proactive and inclusive approach to teamworking, sharing your knowledge, supporting others, and contributing to a positive and high-performing team culture.
