About the role
Compliance Manager - UK
We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Manager to join our Legal & Compliance function. You will lead the implementation and operationalization of critical elements of Afiniti's Compliance Program. This role sits at the intersection of regulation, technology, and ethics, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration across Legal, HR, Security, and Communications teams. You will take ownership of projects, drive internal accountability, and be a key partner in shaping our compliance culture.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain components of the global Compliance Roadmap, including risk assessments, metric reporting, and strategic presentations.
Lead cross-functional projects supporting ethics and compliance, including awareness initiatives, Code of Conduct roll-outs, and training programs.
Conduct operational reviews, gap assessments, and policy effectiveness evaluations to ensure regulatory alignment.
Build and maintain enterprise-wide compliance registers, tools, and SOP repositories.
Conduct investigations and prepare related reporting.
Provide compliance expertise and partnership on enterprise risk and governance frameworks.
Collaborate with legal colleagues on evolving regulatory landscapes (e.g., GDPR, AI ethics, UK Bribery Act, whistleblower protections).
Benchmark, evaluate, and implement compliance platforms and systems.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Compliance, Risk, or Legal functions in a multinational or regulated company.
Demonstrated project management skills in implementing and driving compliance initiatives.
Prior experience working with internal reporting systems (hotlines, whistleblower tools) and conducting investigations.
Understanding of global compliance frameworks, including U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and UK Bribery Act.
Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and analytical mindset, with an ability to balance detail and strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in compliance roles within tech, AI, or telecom sectors.
Experience leading compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions.
Exposure to AI Ethics, EU Whistleblower Directive, and ESG regulatory frameworks.
Passion for the intersection of ethics, regulation, and technology.
