Restaurant Manager

to join our team.

Job Purpose



The Restaurant Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellence in food quality, customer service, staff management, and business performance. The role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, has sound knowledge of UK food safety regulations, and can drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management



Oversee smooth daily operations, including opening, closing, and shift management, stock management and ordering. Ensure compliance with UK food safety, health & safety, licensing, and employment laws. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food quality to the highest standard.

Team Leadership



Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff. Manage rotas and shift patterns in line with business needs. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support professional development.

Customer Experience



Deliver outstanding service, handle customer feedback, and resolve complaints effectively. Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Financial & Business Management



Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor profit margins. Track sales performance and develop strategies to achieve targets. Oversee stock management, supplier relationships, and inventory control.

Marketing & Promotion



Support and implement marketing initiatives to grow sales and attract new customers. Handling social media platform to promote the business. Handling the franchise side promotions for the shop. Understanding of the online delivery platform offers and a deals to grow the sales over delivery platforms.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a hospitality leadership role (essential). Strong knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and licensing laws in the UK (training can be provided). Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills. Understanding of stock management, staff training and shop offers and sales. Ability to manage budgets, analyse financial reports, and control operational costs. Customer-focused with a commitment to high standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
