What will you be doing?



We're seeking a talented individual to join our Fees team in Glasgow or Liverpool, which is responsible for performing Managerial duties associated with Fees ensuring all SLA's are met. You will provide leadership, support and training to the Fees team using Evelyn Partners core values, behaviours and initiatives.

As Manager - Fees, your responsibilities will include among others



Oversee all daily tasks in relation to Fee processing, review MI for the posting and exception reporting of any fee run, manage and monitor completion of Daily Workload and analyse weekly management information statistics Ensure all complaints, breaches and near-misses are logged and action taken to resolve, analyse processes and procedures and implement improvements. Work with Technical Support, Settlement Operations and Investment Front Office representatives to implement IT system enhancements and procedural changes across the business, ensuring both daily and annual regulatory requirements are being adhered to and regularly interact with internal and external Audit to ensure the requirements for periodic compliance reviews are completed on time and with positive results Take responsibility for oversight of the team ensuring that all team tasks are documented and completed to deadline and that reconciling items are resolved within appropriate timescales and appropriate action is taken to rectify errors or omissions and that any anomalies are escalated in a timely fashion & procedures implemented to address further issues Lead by example, displaying strong values and beliefs and a commitment to encouraging individuals to put the client at the front of everything that they do. Complete regular assessments of individuals and provide regular feedback to them on their performance and behaviours, recognising both strengths and areas for development and providing appropriate training, coaching and support, ensuring any underperformance or conduct issues are dealt with and that senior management and HR are involved as appropriate Be able to explain the divisional strategy, demonstrating how business should be conducted to achieve the desired goals, contribute to the achievement of the divisional strategy and be proficient at identifying opportunities to develop and broaden the team's service offering Ensure that fair treatment of clients is at the forefront of all activities within the division, all interactions with clients and third parties are conducted in an open and transparent manner and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the regulatory framework and how it applies to your role, team and the broader division


Qualifications

Skills and Experience



To be successful in this role, you should



Significant settlement operations experience gained within financial services Demonstrable and practical knowledge of the regulatory environment relating to investment management and in particular settlement operations Demonstrable experience of supervising the work of more junior members of staff Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel Projects experience and/or proven track record of successful change initiatives Relevant Level 3 FCA recognised professional qualification (e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate) or appetite and ability to complete it within 18 months of appointment
