Broadgate is partnered with a leading UK fund services group looking for a Fund Accounting Manager, who will be overseeing the fund services team and managing the overall delivery of fund services to the portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include:Oversee quarterly fund accounting operations, including cash flow management, expense monitoring, and investor reporting (NAV, management accounts, and financial statements)Prepare annual financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP and coordinate annual audits with external auditorsCalculate and review management fees, equalisation charges, and performance fees in line with fund documentation (LPA/PPM)Ensure compliance with internal controls, procedures, and service level agreementsRespond to investor and client queries promptly, providing clear and accurate informationDrive operational improvements, promoting efficiency, innovation, and sustainable practicesLead, mentor, and develop team members, managing workload allocation, performance, and professional growthBuild and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction through high-quality output and regular client meetings Requirements:Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA), ideally trained within a top 20 accountancy firm5-10 years' post-qualification experience in fund services, with a strong background in real estate and/or private equity fundsProven expertise in fund accounting and financial reporting, with strong technical knowledge of IFRS/GAAPExcellent client-facing skills with the ability to build trusted relationshipsStrong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teamsHighly organised, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused, with strong problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in accounting/reporting systems and MS Office applications Apply with us today for this great opportunity!
