Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our dynamic establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food production, with a focus on team management and food safety. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff, ensuring the highest standards of service, and maintaining an efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations within the restaurant, stock take, noting fridge temperatures , ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to food safety standards. Manage and support kitchen staff fostering a collaborative team environment. Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high standards. Assist in training new employees on hospitality practices, food safety protocols, and kitchen procedures. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary while managing costs effectively. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Implement health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas to ensure compliance. Develop schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals. Experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
