Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Manage and train kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, to deliver exceptional service.
Coordinate food preparation processes, ensuring timely and quality output.
Supervise inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Implement training programmes for new employees to enhance their skills in food production and hospitality.
Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages staff to contribute ideas for improving service efficiency.
Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for upper management regarding operational success.
Experience
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality sector is essential.
Strong background in food preparation and production processes is highly desirable.
Experience in bartending or managing bar operations is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both staff and customers.
