An award winning London design studio is looking for an experienced Managing Director to join its leadership team.



This is a senior commercial and operational role for someone who understands creative studios deeply. You will work closely with the Founding Creative Directors to strengthen structure, profitability and clarity across the business, while protecting the creative heart of the studio.

The role

You will lead the commercial and operational engine of the studio, including:

Day to day operations, workflow and resourcing Project scoping, contracts, fees and change control Profit and loss management alongside the Founders Pipeline oversight, proposals and commercial strategy Client and stakeholder leadership at senior level Team structure, accountability and operational reporting Systems and processes that support a high performing creative team

About you

You are a calm, credible and highly capable operator with:

Senior experience in a design led environment such as interiors, architecture or creative agencies Strong commercial judgement around margins, scope and forecasting A natural ability to lead, guide and challenge senior creatives with warmth and authority A love of structure, clarity and getting things done Design awareness
This is a business leadership position for someone who enjoys helping creative studios thrive commercially.
