About this opportunity
We're seeking a Managing Director to lead our Transaction Banking Solutions Corporate Sales team. This team is pivotal in driving revenue for our corporate coverage business across our comprehensive Transaction Banking Solutions product suite.
As Managing Director you'll assume overall responsibility for revenue generation across our Corporate client base, leading origination efforts across the transaction banking sales team and will drive strategic direction, and deliver high-quality new business opportunities..
Your accountabilities will include:Achieving revenue by identifying and driving opportunities to support our Transaction Banking Solutions Corporate Coverage business. Developing & driving the delivery of a market-leading, joined up sales strategy, across the Group's portfolio of Corporate clients. Leading a high performing team, developing colleagues through stretching performance objectives, feedback and coaching. Engaging with internal collaborators and related product partners to deliver against strategy and maximise opportunities. Ensuring adherence to group policy and regulatory requirements to protect the customers and the Group, whilst identifying, monitoring and mitigating commercial risks. Building relationships with C-suite Senior Client Executives. Proactively building and maintaining an external and internal network to support business delivery. Spotting opportunities for and leading change to improve customer and commercial outcomes. Overseeing the accurate and timely completion of the sales pipeline and revenue analysis processes, in accordance with defined and agreed goals and objectives Acting as a senior source of professional expertise to shape and deliver marketing plans and engagements at industry events and webinars Targeting prospective customers to develop new relationships and win new business, as well as advancing and maintaining close opportunities with existing clients, ensuring we remain as their trusted advisor.

What you'll needA wealth of evidenced experience in a Transaction Banking Sales environment with an in-depth knowledge of products and established relationships across the Corporate sector. Consistent track record of successfully developing new business opportunities with Large Corporates as well as maintaining existing clients. Have an excellent knowledge of the customer base and competitive environment, to provide client and market feedback to management and business partners, including for product development, enhancement and solution delivery. Have a strong understanding of credit and risk in the context of Corporate in Trade, working capital, and cash management products. A track record in managing strategic client and customer relationships, typically by using large account teams to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty toward the organisation. Have significant experience engaging with senior business leaders and developing strategic solutions to long-term business needs by anticipating complex issues, challenges and opportunities. Ability to identify and cross refer deals across the full product suite, engaging with specialist sales colleagues at the optimum point, ensuring alignment with client needs and organisational goals. Be capable of seeking, sharing, and embedding standard methodology, supporting and positively influencing across the Group Have good people management skills and a self-motivator and influencer, able to represent the organisation in a variety of industry and professional events forums.
