: MANUFACTURING DESIGN ENGINEER

Role: You will have a high level of technical expertise and skill which you will use to plan, design, setup, modify, optimise, and monitor in support of Design and production. You will be a creative and analytical thinker. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as in a team setting.

Core Duties include:

Using design software to assist in design and development of product's that are technically feasible and commercially profitable. As appropriate, to research and keep up to date with new materials, part's and methods of deployment. To develop detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing, aligned to the company's production processes and machinery. Organise and maintain engineering records. Build and Continuously review Bill of Materials and liaising with the relevant teams to ensure any discrepancies or changes are communicated. Ensure components and designs meet applicable industry and business standards. Liaise with manufacturing to ensure that products are manufactured according to the drawing and designs, and to provide design engineering advice as required. Providing production / engineering support Keep cost limits and budgets for new designs in mind during design process and implementing cost-effective production methods. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Successful candidate must have:

A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline with 4 years related design /development work experience in concrete batching or crushing and screening industry. Strong knowledge of 3D SolidWorks Experience using Microsoft package's Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Team player
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year

Dungannon BT70 1TL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
