Position Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Design Engineer with a strong background in retail display design and production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating conceptual designs into production-ready engineering documentation, ensuring manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality execution. You will collaborate with designers, project managers, and fabricators to bring physical retail displays to life, from prototype through final production.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and refine industrial design concepts into engineering drawings suitable for fabrication.

Develop detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Inventor.

Select appropriate materials and production methods (wood, metal, acrylic, plastic, print, etc.) based on cost, durability, and visual impact.

Work closely with suppliers, fabricators, and in-house production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy.

Conduct tolerance studies, BOM creation, and design-for-manufacture (DFM) evaluations.

Provide input on assembly processes and tooling recommendations.

Participate in prototyping, testing, and iterative design adjustments.

Support project timelines, budgets, and quality standards throughout the production lifecycle.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and client-specific requirements.

Occasionally travel to suppliers or clients for installations, quality checks, or troubleshooting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
