Join an expanding business and production team that manufactures diagnostic test kits (e.g. lateral flow devices). Must be a team player, with a planning background and manufacturing experience. Whilst responsible for performing a variety of hands-on manufacturing tasks to specified standards (including reagent formulation, dispensing, labelling, assembly, packing, documentation, inspection, calibration); responsibilities also extend to creating production schedules, both short and long term, based on customer demand & forecasts, allocating staff & materials to meet agreed production goals. Tracking production progress daily and addressing changes needed to ensure production continues smoothly & efficiently. Collaborating with others (managing supplies, logistics, QC, finance) to ensure production plans align with overall business goals. A reliable, clean, safe (COSHH) and consistent working manner would suit the role for someone willing to grow and develop with the growth expected for the company over the next 5 years.
Organisational, planning, numeracy, communication, team player, and problem solving. Manufacturing experience is required with a natural attention for detail to ensure reliability with every task. Working to aseptic standards is not required, though working in a clean, safe and orderly manner to documented procedures is a prerequisite. The ideal candidate would have suitable qualifications/industry recognised training in planning & production and/or relevant industry experience. They would be computer literate (e.g. Office 365) combined with familiarity with operational software systems (e.g. Sage Line 50, QPulse), although internal training will be provided.
