Job Description
This role is primarily based at a manufacturing site in Stalybridge, supporting operations focused on Rotational Moulding Compounds and Powders, with occasional travel to other sites within the wider group as required.
This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a stable working environment and competitive pay.

Working Hours & Pay
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Hourly rate: 20.00
Overtime paid after 40 hours at 30 per hour
On-call rota: 17 weeks per year (approximately 1 week in 3)
+ On-call allowance paid
+ Call-out fee payable

Key Responsibilities
Efficiently respond to plant and equipment breakdowns
Maximise production output and improve equipment reliability
Work safely in accordance with company health and safety policies and procedures
Inspection of plant and equipment
Maintenance of accurate records for plant and equipment
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance activities

Experience & Skills Required
Proven experience with:
+ Pumps
+ Pipes
+ Motors
+ Gearboxes
+ Pneumatics
+ Hydraulics
Electrical experience is essential
Strong time management skills
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to work well under pressure
Motivated, proactive, and methodical approach

Qualifications
17th or 18th Edition Certification (or equivalent safety certification)
Full UK driving licence essential

Mechanical Engineering: Minimum 5 years
Electrical Engineering: Minimum 5 years
