Do you have the personality, skills and drive to join our caretaking team? if so, we are looking for a part-time caretaker to join our team.
The Market Hall is a great place to work, with a strong sense of community and a friendly network of traders.
The Market Hall is open to tenants from 7am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and as such shift work is involved. Sunday and bank holiday working is occasionally required.
This caretaking position will predominately work from 2pm to 6pm over five days, however this can change depending on staffing requirements and the need to cover additional shifts to support annual leave etc.
Duties include waste management, toilet cleaning, the setting out of meeting rooms, contractor liaison, cleaning of the mall and other areas around the building, security presence, key holding and call out duties along with the ability to carry out minor repairs.
The successful candidates will need to be flexible, pro-active and efficient and have a good understanding of Health & Safety, the use of cleaning materials, knowledge of COSHH and basic waste management.
Candidates should be prepared for an active role that will involve standing, lifting, or moving for extended periods.
You will also be responsible for maintaining good relationships with both tenants and shoppers. Previous caretaking or building cleaning experience would be an advantage.
If you have the enthusiasm, drive and experience, we would love to hear from you.
