Role Overview:
As the Marketing & Admissions Assistant, you'll support pupil recruitment and promotional activity across a group of independent schools and nurseries. This varied role includes managing social media and email campaigns, updating the website, creating newsletters and promotional content, and maintaining brand assets.
You'll liaise with schools to ensure consistent support, coordinate local outreach and events, and assist with campaign delivery. On the admissions side, you'll help manage the full enquiry-to-enrolment process, track performance against targets, and report on trends to inform strategy.
To thrive in this role, you'll need to be a self-starter with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team. You'll be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy school environment, and bring excellent communication skills--both written and verbal.
Key Responsibilities:
Email and Social Media Management:
Oversee email marketing campaigns and manage company social media accounts, including posting to Facebook and Instagram channels, to engage audiences and enhance brand presence.
Monthly Newsletters:
Create and distribute monthly newsletters to maintain stakeholder engagement and share key updates.
Website Management:
Regularly update and manage the company website to ensure it accurately reflects the brand and supports marketing goals, including completing daily updates as required.
Content Creation and Asset Management:
Project manage the creation of engaging content, such as case studies and promotional materials, that aligns with marketing strategies. Maintain the central asset library by ensuring existing content is up to date and uploading new content efficiently.
Review Management:
Gather and respond to reviews in line with provided guidance to support and protect the organisation's reputation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Liaise with schools to ensure they receive the marketing support they need, capturing and responding to suggestions and feedback.
Brand Kit Oversight:
Keep Canva brand kits up to date and ensure new ones are created and implemented as required.
Campaign and Project Support:
Support the marketing team with key campaigns, projects, and initiatives to enhance visibility and engagement.
Local Outreach and Partnerships:
Coordinate local marketing outreach efforts, events, and community partnerships to increase brand awareness and applications.
Promotional Material Production:
Assist in the production of promotional materials and signage to support marketing and admissions initiatives.
Admissions Support:
Support the full admissions process across designated schools--from initial enquiry to enrolment--ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and supportive experience for prospective families.
Admissions Monitoring:
Track admissions targets in line with group and school objectives, providing regular reports on pipeline, conversion rates, and emerging trends.
Trend Analysis:
Evaluate and report on data collected through marketing and admissions activities to inform strategy and continuous improvement.
Technology Exploration:
Stay informed about emerging technologies and AI applications that could enhance marketing efforts and improve operational efficiency.

For the first 14 months of this role, you will be enrolled in the Digital Marketing Academy, an award-winning Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship programme. You will learn a wide range of digital marketing knowledge, skills and behaviours from expert marketers:

Working hours:
9-5 Monday-Friday
Pay:
20,000 - 26,000 on completion, with a 1,500 pay increase every 4 months based on KPI's.
