Kiddie Capers Childcare HQ is the central support hub for our eleven settings located across Sussex. Owned and operated by two local families, Kiddie Capers Childcare is proud to provide a truly enriching early years education where every child's potential is reached, and individuality is celebrated. Our Head Office team plays a vital role in ensuring our nurseries deliver exceptional care, learning, and support to children, families, and staff.

We are now seeking an

Admissions Assistant

to join our Central Operations Team. In this key role, you will support the Marketing & Admissions Manager by handling first-line enquiries from prospective parents, identifying vacancies across our nurseries to help maximise occupancy, and working closely with nursery managers to coordinate show-rounds and manage bookings. From the initial enquiry through to a confirmed place, you will play an essential part in ensuring every family receives a seamless, professional, and welcoming experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with early years' experience who is looking to stay within the sector but explore a new challenge in a supportive head office role, with real potential for development and progression within our growing organisation.

Main Duties:



Admissions



To provide a first line cover for phones at HQ, primarily monitoring the dedicated admissions hotline, and admission support for prospective families To become a subject matter expert on all elements of funded entitlements in the local authorities that we operate in To be a subject matter on our fee and funding schedules per site To ensure that the enquiries tracker is always kept up to date Supporting the Marketing & Admissions Manager to keep the availability spreadsheet for all sites up to date Provide weekly updates to the Head of Central Operations on a range of data including, no. of enquiries (inc. contact details, where they heard about us, which sites they are interested in), no. of signups, conversion rates, occupancy levels. The postholder will also support with analysing data related to bookings etc. Support with data audits across the business relation to admissions and booking patterns Monitor joint mailboxes and ensure emails are forwarded (where appropriate) and filed correctly Work closely with Nursery Managers to ensure an excellent knowledge of all settings and the unique selling points for each Provide support and cover to the Office Administrator during busy periods, holiday or sickness to ensure the smooth running of the Central Operations Team.

Marketing



Work with the Marketing & Admissions Manager to identify routes for marketing our settings Support with the organisation and running of Nursery open days for all settings providing admissions and funding support to families Be responsible for the administration associated with incentive schemes Ensure the company events calendar is kept up to date and events are marketed in a timely manner to aid engagement Ensure that all Admissions related information is kept up to date on the website Support the Marketing & Admissions Manager with marketing initiatives

Requirements:



Early Years knowledge or experience working in admissions (desirable) Impeccable attention to detail Record of providing excellent administrative and customer service Excellent communication skills and adaptability Creative and solution driven Good use of initiative Works at pace Team player

Hours & Salary



25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:30-14:30 (will variation of these hours)

28,000 per annum (FTE) - pro rata for part time hours

Please note, we are looking for someone who is based in Sussex.
