Are you creative and enthusiastic with great attention to detail? Do you love finding ways to connect with people? Do you instinctively understand what drives others to take action and feel passionate about ensuring everyone who needs it has access to the best quality care? We're looking for a new Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our Communications and Engagement team.
Trinity's Communications and Engagement team is dedicated to reaching across our catchment area and beyond, making sure people know about our care and how we are funded, promoting inclusivity and removing barriers to care.
We support and collaborate with teams across the organisation, using our expertise to promote activities, events and services, championing ways to provide financial support and ensuring our patients and community receive relevant, accessible and inclusive information about what we do and the difference we make.
Working closely with our patient services, volunteering, fundraising and retail teams, you will be a strong fit if you are a multi-tasker, are experienced working in environments that require a sensitive approach, and with the attention to detail and creativity required to produce quality, compelling and accessible content. We are looking for someone who will share our passion for the work of the hospice and the vital role we play in the community we serve.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Delivering Trinity's key messages and calls to action across the marketing mix: via website, email, social media and print
Gathering compelling, creative content to share with multiple audiences across a variety of media
Provide tailored marketing support for Trinity's income generation functions (fundraising, retail and commercial ventures e.g the cafe and retail consultancy)
Being responsible for applying the Communications team's consent processes across all case studies and relevant content including managing the image library
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
A sound working knowledge of using social media, email, website and design platforms in a professional context including how to communicate effectively with different audiences
Good knowledge of how to interpret insights from digital marketing activity and use them to improve and inform work going forward
A strong knowledge of and interest in how to keep up with digital trends
Knowledge of privacy, consent and data protection as it relates to marketing activity
An understanding of the complexities of working closely with people who are approaching the end of life or those who are bereaved
Experience of working in a marketing or communications role
Experience with online marketing platforms
Experience with content creation tools to produce quality images, design and video
Excellent attention to detail, strong copywriting skills and a good understanding of how to apply brand to creative content
Strong organisational skills to manage a portfolio of responsibilities to deadline and within the brief and expectations of teams across the hospice
A commitment to improving our community's relationship with death and dying, ability to talk about complex issues e.g. bereavement in a sensitive and accessible way
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
A sensitive approach when working with patients and people who are bereaved
You do not have to have experience of working in environments where death, dying and bereavement are openly discussed but you should feel comfortable with communicating about all aspects of Trinity's work. You will be supported with this, but you should be comfortable with regularly talking/writing/hearing about death, dying and bereavement.
Benefits of working at Trinity:
We match Agenda for Change/NHS terms and conditions for maternity, paternity and long-term sickness pay
