Marketing and Communications Manager

Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary: \xc2\xa338,552 per annum, Professional Services Pay Grade 14 **Pay award pending**

Campus: Trowbridge, Wiltshire with travel to all sites

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join us at Wiltshire College and University Centre. In this role you will inspire and manage our marketing and communications team to deliver effective campaigns across all marketing mediums in order to achieve our student recruitment targets and to develop and enhance the reputation of the college.

This is a brilliant opportunity to lead a multi-channel marketing team and to experience and influence all aspects of the marketing mix.

About the role

The main focus of the position will be to develop and execute the college\xe2\x80\x99s marketing strategy.

Other aspects of the role will include \xe2\x80\x93

  • Maintaining and developing our brand.
  • Utilising digital marketing to engage target demographics.
  • Analysing and reporting on key data sets to communicate marketing impact to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promoting the college through planning, organising and running events.
  • Line managing the marketing team including setting targets and monitoring and managing performance.
  • Providing leadership and direction to ensure the marketing function achieves all targets and goals.
About you

To apply for this role, you will have experience from within a similar position and knowledge of, and skills in, a variety of marketing techniques including digital, copywriting, PR and website management.

You will have demonstrable experience of running successful marketing campaigns across a variety of media and be skilled in analysing and interpreting their results. You will be a proven people manager with knowledge of managing budgets.

You will also be ambitious, highly motivated and driven to achieve your goals with a positive, proactive mindset that inspires your team and peers alike. Previous experience from within further education would be advantageous but is not essential.
