We are an established live entertainment production company specialising in national and international touring and one-off events which deliver outstanding customer service while working alongside well-known brands.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and creative
Marketing and Events Manager
to oversee marketing strategy and support the delivery of live touring shows across the UK (and internationally as required). This role combines strategic marketing campaign leadership with hands-on coordination of event logistics, working closely with production teams, venues, promoters, suppliers, and sponsors to drive ticket sales, audience engagement, and exceptional show experiences.
This position is office based at our head office in Congleton, Cheshire, but some travel to venues may be required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & Campaign Management
Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns for each touring production, ensuring campaigns are adapted to local markets.
Oversee the digital marketing strategy with the digital manager (paid social, search, email)
Develop and manage print, outdoor, broadcast and PR activities, to deliver compelling campaigns.
Build relationships with venues, partners and local marketing teams to maximise reach, secure listings, co-promotions, and local partnerships.
Monitor and analyse campaign performance, ticket sales trends, and adjust strategies to optimise results.
Manage marketing budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered cost-effectively, reporting on spend and ROI.
Event & Tour Coordination
Coordinate with production teams on tour schedules, launches, press nights, sponsor activations and special events.
Liaise with venues to ensure marketing and event requirements are fulfilled, including signage, front-of-house branding, and local press calls.
Support the planning and delivery of VIP experiences, press launches, community engagement activities, and partner events linked to the shows.
Audience Development & Partnerships
Use ticketing data and CRM systems to identify target audiences and new opportunities.
Develop local partnerships and grassroots initiatives to reach diverse communities and broaden audiences.
Work to secure media coverage, influencers, and broadcast features.
Brand & Content
Ensure all marketing materials and event presentations uphold brand guidelines and overall creative vision.
Oversee the creation of high-quality content including social media assets, trailers, print collateral, and behind-the-scenes features using in-house and external resource.
Line Management
Line manage two staff, providing clear direction, support, and regular feedback to ensure delivery of marketing and event objectives.
Set individual goals and development plans, conducting regular one-to-ones and performance reviews.
Foster a positive, collaborative team environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.
Regularly report to the senior leadership team on the departments performance.
Skills & Experience
5+ years' experience in marketing and/or event management, ideally in live entertainment, touring productions, or leisure sectors.
Demonstrated ability to lead sales-focused marketing campaigns and coordinate event operations.
Strong digital marketing knowledge across Meta, Google Ads, email CRM, and analytics platforms.
Experience managing suppliers and agencies to produce creative assets and event deliverables.
Confident communicator with excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Data-driven approach to planning and reporting.
Flexible and hands-on, able to thrive in a fast-paced touring environment.
