J&C Joel supply, manufacture, and install, a range of products into the entertainment and events industry. The core of its business is flame retardant fabrics and manufacturing high-end technical and decorative drapery. Over the last 15 years J&C Joel has hugely grown and developed its stage engineering solutions through its Project's department, which installs a wide range of systems, ranging from basic curtain tracks and drapery, through to high performance motorised rigging and stage engineering, with sophisticated automation controls.

ROLE PURPOSE:

J&C Joel has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Apprentice to join our Marketing team.

We are seeking someone who is passionate to learn the varied world of marketing. From preparing documents and paperwork to videos, photography and social media the company is looking for someone that can support our current marketing team that is keen to learn and grow. They will assist in showcasing J&C Joel's array of products and services through a range of appropriate channels.

The successful candidate will work towards a two-year digital marketing Apprenticeship level 3 with our local provider. This will involve mainly on-the-job assessment, with the occasional requirement to attend college.

J&C Joel has a long and successful history of developing and retaining apprentices across a wide range of role, some of whom have grown into senior or managerial roles.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

The role will require supporting the wider marketing team on many of the below, as well as possibly taking the lead on some things as your experience grows.

Develop engaging and relevant marketing content that will be communicated via new and existing marketing channels of the business

Write copy and update SEO on the J&C Joel website

Create and post content on J&C Joel social media

Administrative, data and research tasks (e.g.: competitor analysis and compiling data for reports)

Newsletter creation and management

Write copy for project profiles, blogs and press releases

Videography, photography and video/image editing for internal and external marketing

Assist with preparing and attending events.

The above duties, albeit being quite specific, are not exhaustive, and there may be times when other requirements are expected to carry out the role to the expectations of the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS

Good standard of GSCE results, with min grade 4 in English and Maths

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: From 7.55 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36.25 per week
