As the Marketing Assistant (Apprentice) within Godolphin's UK Marketing team, you will be responsible for supporting the department with the execution of marketing in Europe with a focus on written communications, digital marketing and its performance, as well as assisting with various departmental projects.


The role will work across the Darley stallion and Godolphin brand activities including the racing team, our charitable programmes and internal communications.


As part of this role, there will be a requirement to carry out a Level 4 Marketing Executive apprenticeship, which would ordinarily take 15 to 21 months to complete.

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:



Some previous experience in a similar role, together with a good educational background to include GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential. This is a hands-on, varied role and requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task. Previous experience in or well-rounded knowledge of the thoroughbred industry, either racing or breeding (or both) is required. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and keen to deliver, willing to get stuck into a variety of projects A flexible attitude to working hours is necessary as occasional evening and weekend work will be required to attend events. A full driver's license is essential. The use of open source platforms, CRM and Intranets would be an advantage.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone wanting to gain experience in Sports Marketing while also gaining a qualification. In return, we offer a salary of 22,000 per annum, including accommodation, as well as a generous benefits package, free on-site canteen, with excellent opportunities to learn and develop new skills whilst in role. This is a full time (35 hours per week), office-based role at our Newmarket Headquarters at Dalham Hall Stud.
