Overview

We're looking for a creative and driven

Marketing & Social Media Executive

to join our team, working across two buzzing East London venues,

Shoreditch Balls

(crazy golf, cocktails, karaoke & chaos) and

The Red Lion, Hoxton

(a proper pub with a rooftop, games room, and great food).

This hybrid role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, loves hospitality, and knows how to create content that makes people stop scrolling and start booking. You'll manage online presence, capture engaging photo and video content, and help bring our events and experiences to life.

This is a paid part-time or freelance position (around

2-3 days per week

) offering creative freedom, variety, and plenty of room to make your mark.

Duties

Manage and grow social media accounts for both venues (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.). Create engaging photo, video, and written content that reflects each venue's personality. Post 3-5 times per week per venue and engage with followers regularly. Visit both venues weekly to capture on-site content, events, food, cocktails, atmosphere, all the good stuff. Create and send email campaigns and mailouts to promote deals, events, and group bookings. Develop and execute marketing campaigns for key occasions (Halloween, Christmas, Euros, etc.). Reach out to local businesses to promote corporate and private bookings. Track social performance, engagement, and ROI to help guide future ideas. Collaborate with the team on creative direction, ad content, and promotional assets.

Skills

Proven experience managing social media for hospitality, nightlife, or lifestyle brands. Confident creating and editing short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, etc.). Solid understanding of branding, tone, and visual storytelling. Strong writing and communication skills, can make a pint or pizza sound irresistible. Basic design/editing skills (Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite). Experience with email platforms (Squarespace or similar). Organised and self-motivated, able to plan, post, and deliver without micromanagement. Comfortable working remotely but happy to get hands-on in-venue for shoots and campaigns.

Hours & Pay

2-3 days per week (approx. 16-24 hours)

1,800 - 2,400 per month
