JOB PURPOSE

McConnell is a Principal Contractor who deliver external refurbishment, modernisation and planned maintenance services for the public and private sector across the UK.

Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Location: East Kilbride

Salary: Depending on experience - attractive package

Working Hours: Full Time Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm & 4pm on a Friday.

Accountabilities:

We're looking for a competent marketing coordinator to support the Head of Marketing with internal and external marketing activities, including:

Support the development and delivery of marketing collateral and content for internal and external audiences Maintain corporate assets and presentations Work with our bid and operations teams to create case studies for the website and for use in bids and marketing collateral Visit project sites around Scotland to take photos of progress, write up project profiles and build relationships with the teams Support the planning and organisation of industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Also attending occasional events to support the Business Development team Support the gathering of content for our internal newsletter, reporting on updates/stories across Scotland and gathering suitable photos Assist in maintaining CRM data Maintain and update marketing trackers and collateral shared in team SharePoint hubs Support our bid teams with ad hoc graphics and icons Manage merchandise orders for Scotland for events including career fairs, meet the contractor events and brand awareness events Manage the Marketing Hub SharePoint page Create microsites (websites where residents can receive updates on the progress of sites), for our Scotland projects Research audiences, industry trends, and growth opportunities to inform marketing strategies.

Person Specific:

Experience in marketing (industry experience not essential) Strong communicator Good project management skills Strong writing skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) Strong organisational skills
