The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, content scheduling, and analysing campaign performance. Key Responsibilities:
Market Research:
Conduct research into the industries we currently operate in, identify trends, new markets and potential opportunities while monitoring competitor activity.
Content Scheduling:
Creating a monthly content schedule including blog topics and social media posts, following up with research to establish engaging content for each one.
Campaign Coordination:
Assist in planning, developing, and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, events and webinars).
Social Media Management:
Assist in managing our LinkedIn social media profile, including content scheduling, posting, and performance tracking.
Event Coordination:
Support the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, and webinars, including researching and planning new exhibitions and areas for growth.
Data Analysis:
Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, market trends and report figures on a weekly and monthly basis.
Email Marketing:
Utilising information from the content schedule to create engaging and informative email campaigns, targeting specific market segments and monitoring open rates, click rates and conversions.
Website Content:
Assist in creating and updating content across two websites, one e-commerce website and one lead generating website. This may include uploading blogs, creating and updating product information and implementing marketing collateral such as pop-ups and promotions.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with external agencies as an extension of the marketing team itself, to complete projects and drive the marketing strategy forwards.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a marketing role (internships or part-time experience considered).
Skills:
Experience using marketing software such as Mailchimp or HubSpot and B2B social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
Basic knowledge of SEO, digital marketing analytics and marketing strategy with the ability to identify trends and advise next steps.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create and structure written content for publication.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload.
Creative thinking and problem-solving attitude.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress and Magento.
Understanding of marketing automation and CRM systems such as HubSpot and Sage or similar.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Moz Pro, SEM rush, Google Trends and Rank Math SEO.
