About the Role

We're looking for a strategic yet hands-on Marketing Director to lead our growing marketing function through its next phase of scaling. Reporting into the CRO, you'll be responsible for executing our refreshed go-to-market strategy, embedding our brand identity, and driving demand through intelligent, data-led campaigns. You'll bring leadership and structure to an existing team of four, and use your experience with AI, automation and performance marketing to elevate our marketing impact. This role is ideal for someone who has grown a B2B marketing team in a scale-up environment, knows how to get things done, and is as comfortable executing strategy as they are rolling up their sleeves.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the execution of our marketing strategy and go-to-market plan, crafted in collaboration with the CRO, with room to refine and evolve.

Manage a team of four across marketing operations, brand, comms, design and PR.

Drive demand generation through SEO, digital campaigns, events, partnerships and targeted outreach.

Optimise our marketing systems through the use of AI and automation, initially within Marketing Cloud and Salesforce.

Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, product and leadership teams to align messaging and priorities.

Lead the refresh of our website and oversee consistent application of our updated brand identity and messaging framework.

Build and present marketing performance reports using data visualisation tools to inform strategic decisions.

Manage external PR agency relationships and ensure high-quality brand and communication outputs.

Maintain a high standard for brand detail, creative execution and visual consistency.

Provide hands-on support where needed to move quickly and deliver results in a scale-up environment.

Key Skills & Experience

Proven leadership experience in B2B marketing, ideally in payments or SaaS environments.

Strong understanding of AI-led marketing tools and automation - particularly in segmentation and campaign performance.

Track record of working with SME audiences via partnership distribution models.

Deep understanding of SEO, demand generation and digital marketing principles.

Proficient in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud, with strong marketing operations know-how.

Highly data-driven - confident in building dashboards, interpreting metrics and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.

Experience managing a marketing team through a scale-up phase, ideally from early-stage to growth.

Skilled in working with PR agencies and planning/managing events.

Strong attention to detail, especially around branding, messaging and visual identity.

Balanced approach - considered in your thinking but proactive in your execution.

Comfortable working at pace and switching between strategic leadership and hands-on delivery as needed.
