The overall purpose of the role is to increase footfall into the Human Kind cafe, to bring more money into the charity, via a variety of marketing strategies for different customer groups; and to contribute to the organisation and success of various fundraising events, including some evening events.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS
1. Develop and own the production of high-quality, engaging content for relevant channels including social media, the Human Kind website, emails and videos.
2. Monitor and measure the performance of social media channels and implement strategies to increase engagement. Advise on new social media channels to increase reach to relevant groups.
3. Act as the brand guardian by ensuring consistency of messaging and adhering to brand guidelines.
4. Plan and co-ordinate monthly speciality evening events in the cafe designed to bring in a more affluent client group. Collaborate with all parties to ensure smooth execution of these events and ensure they are monetized effectively.
5. Plan relevant timely daytime events (notable dates, key holidays, special events etc) and market these events. Co-ordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. Collaborate/assist with our regular groups - managed by the part-time events co-ordinator - when necessary.
6. Advise on marketing collateral for the cafe. Commission collateral when required.
7. Ensure all customers and staff featured in any social media or collateral have given their permission to be used in any campaigns. Keep an audit trail of signed documentation or filmed verbal consent.
8. Any other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.

Marketing degree or equivalent experience
