Marketing Executive

Cambridge, United Kingdom

Job Description

Cambridge | Working Pattern: Full-time, in-person (4-day week, Monday to Thursday)
Ready to help shape one of the UK's fastest growing re-commerce brands?
WeBuyVintage is looking for a talented, ambitious and hands-on Marketing Executive to join our growing team. You'll be joining at an incredibly exciting time -- helping shape the future of a brand that's scaling fast.
This is the perfect role for someone early in their marketing career who wants to learn, get stuck in, and grow quickly. You'll gain experience across every area of marketing -- from social media to PR, email, paid ads, events, and more -- working closely with senior team members and seeing your ideas make a real impact.
Who We Are
WeBuyVintage is one of the UK's largest buyers of jewellery, antiques and collectibles. We run more roadshows than any other UK company -- over 180 valuation events every month -- bringing trusted experts face-to-face with customers across the country.
In less than two years, we've grown from a pub-table idea into an eight-figure business, and we're on a mission to make WeBuyVintage a brand everyone recognises.
The Role
As Marketing Executive, you'll be an invaluable part of a small, dynamic team -- a true all-rounder who's happy to turn your hand to almost anything. No two days will look the same.
You might be scheduling social media posts one day, helping edit a new video or blog the next, setting up an email campaign, analysing data, organising creative shoots, or helping our PR & Content Lead bring stories to life.
It's a chance to learn directly from experienced marketers, work closely with the founding team, and gain the kind of hands-on exposure that's hard to find in larger companies.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Marketing and wider team across day-to-day marketing activity.
  • Help manage and schedule content across social channels.
  • Assist in writing and editing social posts, email newsletters, blogs, and website updates.
  • Respond to Trustpilot and Google reviews to help maintain our trusted reputation.
  • Support with organising and documenting marketing meetings and campaign planning.
  • Assist in setting up email flows and basic automation.
  • Help co-ordinate PR opportunities and media.
  • Gather and organise content from roadshows and events.
  • Pull together reports and insights on campaign performance.
  • Liaise with freelancers, agencies, or venues when needed.
  • Support with day-to-day admin -- everything from image sourcing to file organisation.
  • & much more!
You'll be exposed to a wide variety of marketing disciplines -- giving you the experience, skills and confidence to grow quickly as part of a company that's scaling fast.
What We're Looking For
  • Some experience in marketing, communications, or a related field (degree or equivalent experience).
  • A genuine passion for marketing, social media, and brand building.
  • Excellent written English and attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Organised, reliable and comfortable juggling multiple tasks.
  • Confident using social media platforms and basic marketing tools.
  • A positive, can-do attitude -- ready to get stuck in and make things happen.
  • Talent. Above all, we are looking for someone who can grow with us.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary
  • 4-day working week
  • Opportunity to shape the future one of the UK's fastest-growing re-commerce brands
  • Collaborative, friendly environment with room to progress as the team expands
  • Direct mentorship from senior marketers and founders
  • Real ownership, variety, and exposure across all areas of marketing
How to Apply
We'll only be looking at applications with a cover letter. Please send us your CV and a short note about why you'd be a great fit. If you have any immediate questions about the role please contact connie.s@webuyvintage.co.uk.
