Marketing Executive - Patient and Volunteer Enrolment (Germany or Engliand based)
hVIVO is a clinical research organisation which specialises in the delivery of clinical trials in healthy volunteers and patients. It has sites in Germany, mainly focussed on patient trials, and the UK, which is mostly healthy volunteers.
This role will be supporting with the development and delivery of a robust and compliant marketing strategy for the recruitment of patients across all sites in Germany. It will input into the overall marketing plan along with local budget requirements. The role will report into the Marketing manager based in the UK but is expected to collaborate closely with the German operational teams across recruitment, clinical site, patient advocacy, project management and finally business development. The company currently uses Salesforce service and marketing cloud as its core engagement tools, experience with Salesforce systems, or similar would be an advantage.
All content created will be in German so there is a mandatory requirement to be proficient in German and English. All content is required to be submitted to health authorities so attention to detail is a must and working to tight timelines.
This role would suit an energetic, enthusiastic and organised Marketing executive who has a good understanding of the local German market. Someone who is comfortable working in a high demand environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on execution and delivery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding our organisation, key priorities and applying a digital approach to marketing campaigns including content creation and distribution as well as logistical and operational aspects in-person and using digital aspects to enhance community engagement.
Main Responsibilities:
General:
Support the Marketing manager in the development and execution of the local marketing and lead gen plan
Develop engagement strategies across channels to drive traffic to the German recruitment website
Manage marketing spend within agreed budgets
Management and execution of email campaigns
Managing local vendors under the direction of the Marketing manager (online & offline marketing agencies)
Provide reporting on assigned KPI's to recruitment Leadership Team
Social Media and local recruitment website:
Ownership of the local recruitment website for managing applications
Support the marketing manager in the development and execution of the social engagement strategy
Responding to comments and reviews across channels utilising engagement tools such as salesforce.com marketing cloud and Instagram
Creating and scheduling social media posts across channels through engagement tool ie Salesforce marketing cloud
Creating blogs to be shared across social channels and uploaded to the German recruitment website
Materials and content creation:
Working with digital agencies and other 3rd party partners to develop marketing materials based on target audience
Design a recruitment strategy based on study protocol and requirements
Submit materials to health agencies for review and approval
Create, review and approve advertising material across multiple channels
Lead Generation activity:
Supporting the recruitment manager and Patient advocacy team with marketing materials to support engagement opportunities
Undertaking market research as required
Lead on engagement innovation for attracting volunteers such as supporting local SEO and in market A/B testing
Analyse effectiveness of marketing strategies and reporting back to stakeholders
Attend on-site locations and conferences to promote and raise awareness ie university open days / conferences etc
Design local patient and volunteer referral strategy to generate leads
Candidate Requirements:
Ability to self manage workload and prioritise multiple requests from differing parts of the business
Able to prioritise and deliver against internal and external timelines
Proficient in English and German at a professional level
Experience in German market marketing and social media channels
Skills & Experiences:
The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding our organisation, key priorities and driving a digital approach to marketing campaigns including content creation and distribution.
Attention to detail, ability to manage within a high demand environment, strong interpersonal communications skills, and a focus on execution and results are a must.
