The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead and grow the brand's presence across digital, physical, and media platforms. This is a pivotal leadership role, ideal for someone with a proven background in luxury marketing, who thrives on storytelling, partnership-building, and delivering measurable commercial results.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Positioning
Lead the strategic refresh of The Sofa & Chair Company's brand identity and market positioning, aligning with business growth goals and audience insights.
Ensure consistency and excellence in brand tone, visual language, and narrative across all touchpoints.
Position the business as a market leader in bespoke, luxury furniture and full-service interior solutions.
Marketing Campaigns & Communications
Develop and execute integrated campaigns that highlight our craftsmanship, bespoke services, and industry-leading offering.
Lead multi-channel communications planning across brand, trade, and performance objectives.
Drive clear, compelling messaging that resonates with high-net-worth individuals and design professionals.
CRM & Email Marketing
Own the customer lifecycle strategy, managing CRM campaigns to drive retention, loyalty, and repeat business.
Lead the planning and execution of segmented email marketing campaigns across trade and private client audiences.
High-Value Partnerships
Build and manage impactful brand and designer partnerships valued at 50k+, with a focus on long-term brand equity and commercial return.
Oversee collaborative launches, co-branded content, and activations.
Content Creation & Storytelling
Lead the production of elevated content across photo, video, copy, and campaign assets.
Collaborate with in-house creatives and external agencies to maintain brand standards and storytelling impact.
Event Management
Deliver exceptional experiences through trade shows, showroom events, designer dinners, and private client activations.
Manage event strategy from concept through to execution and post-event performance review.
Digital & Ecommerce Marketing
Support the ecommerce team with campaign planning, creative direction, and optimisation of the online customer journey.
Drive SEO strategy to improve visibility and qualified organic traffic.
Oversee creative direction across digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand identity and performance objectives.
Data Management & Reporting
Own marketing analytics and reporting across all key channels (digital, CRM, partnerships, PR, events).
Track and analyse core KPIs including traffic, engagement, conversion, ROI, customer behaviour, and campaign performance.
Use tools such as Google Analytics, CRM dashboards, and other data suites (Power BI experience beneficial) to derive insights and optimise marketing strategies.
Prepare and present clear, actionable weekly reports to stakeholders and senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions and spend allocation.
Team Leadership:
Coordinate cross-functional teams (Creative, Sales, Ecommerce, Showroom) to ensure consistent messaging and brand excellence at every touchpoint.
