We're looking for a Marketing Manager who can set a bold vision, build smart strategies from data and industry insight, and bring our brand to life across the UK and key international markets. You'll shape the plan, own the budget and manage our Social Media Assistant to deliver measurable growth.
What you'll do
Own the marketing strategy:
develop, deliver and continually optimise a 12-month plan across domestic and international markets, aligned to commercial goals.
Drive brand and demand:
increase brand awareness, grow qualified website traffic and deliver more direct bookings through always-on programmes and targeted/seasonal campaigns.
Lead channel performance:
oversee SEO, paid search, paid social, email/CRM, CRO/UX, PR/influencers and partnerships (DMOs, OTAs, resellers, affiliates).
Website management & UX:
own site updates and new product pages; liaise with our web agency to improve navigation and booking flows; keep on-page SEO, tagging and accessibility up to date.
Plan and manage the budget:
allocate spend, forecast and re-prioritise to capture opportunity; set testing roadmaps and clear learning agendas.
Guide the brand narrative:
ensure consistent, vibrant storytelling across web, landing pages, blogs, video and photography, with a distinctive Timberbush tone of voice.
OOH & digital creative:
brief, design or oversee creative for OOH, print, digital display and social - delivering high standards and on-brand execution.
Construct engaging blogs and newsletters (B2C & B2B/trade):
plan the calendar, write/commission content, segment lists and A/B test to drive traffic and bookings.
Monitor, analyse and report on website performance:
spot opportunities, run small tests/pilots and scale what works.
Manage our annual brochure:
lead timelines, copy, image rights, approvals, printer liaison and distribution--aligned with our digital messaging.
Line-manage our Social Media Assistant:
coach, support development and ensure their work complements and supports the wider strategy.
Reputation & community:
own online reputation management and UGC/influencer programmes.
Cross-functional collaboration:
work closely with Sales, Product, Operations and Reservations to
match demand with capacity

accordingly.
About you
Vision & Execution:
you can articulate a clear brand and growth strategy, then back it with data, testing and smart prioritisation.
Expert understanding
of social media marketing, Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads (AdWords).
Tourism/experiences background strongly preferred
(tours, attractions, hospitality or experiences). You understand seasonality, international audiences and the travel-trade ecosystem.
Educated to degree level in Marketing
(or similar) or have at least
2-3 years' experience
in a senior marketing role.
Copywriting strength & detail-focused:
you have experience writing/editing copy and a keen eye for detail.
Creative judgement:
ability to brief/design for digital and OOH. Adobe CC or equivalent is a plus.
Leader & collaborator:
experience managing at least one direct report; you set clear goals, give feedback and develop people.
