Job Description

We're a growing group of restaurants and bakeries with a passion for exceptional food, warm hospitality, and community connection. Our group includes, three restaurants, two retail bakery locations, a commercial bakery, and an exciting new restaurant opening soon in Poundbury.

We're looking for a creative and strategic

Marketing Manager

to help shape and lead our marketing efforts across the group. This is a dynamic, hands-on role with plenty of opportunity for ownership, innovation, and impact.

Key Responsibilities



Strategy & Planning



Develop and execute a comprehensive annual marketing plan for each location and for the group as a whole. Lead the marketing launch strategy and ongoing promotion for our new Poundbury site. Contribute to broader brand-building efforts, including naming and positioning the group.

Content, PR & Communications



Plan and manage regular email newsletters, including strategy, content ideas, and execution. Create and manage a steady stream of PR opportunities throughout the year. Seek out and secure media coverage, blog features, and influencer reviews. Conceive and manage one-off events with support from site managers and leadership.

Social Media & Digital



Oversee all social media channels, ensuring consistency, quality, and creativity. Develop a content calendar, approval process, and tone-of-voice guidelines. Manage a Dorset & Devon based content creator and contribute ideas and themes regularly. Develop and manage digital and print advertising campaigns.

Community & Brand Development



Actively nurture the brand presence both online and within local communities. Represent the brand and be involved in local events, collaborations, and initiatives.

Collaboration & Innovation



Work closely with the leadership team to contribute to new initiatives. Provide input on special projects, including new website launches for each site. Continuously seek ways to elevate our marketing, storytelling, and customer engagement.

About You



We're looking for someone who is:

Strategic and creative, with a strong grasp of brand and community-driven marketing. A confident communicator with excellent copywriting and content planning skills. Experienced in social media management and familiar with working with creatives. Organised, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple sites and projects. Excited by food, hospitality, and small business culture.Able to track, learn and report on the successes of marketing efforts.
Experience in hospitality or F&B marketing is a strong plus, but not essential.

35,000 - 40,000 per annum Optional 4-day week (salary prorated) Quarterly bonuses tied to KPIs Flexible working environment (some in-person presence required)Typically Monday-Friday with some weekends required depending on events.
