About BOTL

Part of onegreenbottle.com, botl is our new brand identity. We are a certified B-Corporation and have been supplying alternatives to single use plastic bottles for nearly 20years. Throughout this time we have kept to our fundamental principles of responsible and ethical supply. We strongly believe that businesses should thrive without environmental impact. We are manufacturing our sports caps from recycled fishing nets, using only net zero carbon transport, funding the infrastructure for better plastic waste management and supporting environmental awareness education. On top of this we reclaim 50 single use plastic bottles for every botl sold.

We are not perfect but we are trying our very best to do the right things.

We are based in gorgeous offices, overlooking the Marina and seafront in Shoreham Port. We are a small team with a big mission and we are looking for a person to join our busy team.

We're looking for a creative, data-driven

Marketing Manager

to lead and scale our marketing efforts. If you're ready to make your mark at a brand that's shaking things up, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As Marketing Manager at BOTL, you'll own the strategy and execution of all marketing activity, helping drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with the opportunity to shape BOTL's voice and grow with the business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

To get the botl mission heard in the right places and to work with the team to deliver the best product and service possible. We have a product we are proud of and need to get in front of the right customers to raise brand awareness.

Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies (digital, social, content, events, partnerships, etc.) Manage content creation and campaigns that drive engagement and growth Own the marketing calendar and lead product or seasonal launches Oversee email marketing, SEO/SEM, paid ads, and analytics Work closely with the team to align marketing with company goals Track performance metrics and optimize campaigns based on data Identify new opportunities to expand BOTL's reach and community

You Bring:

3+ years of marketing experience (brand, digital, or growth marketing) Proficiency in Canva, facebook, Instagram, pinterest and tiktok Experience of Photoshop and abobe illustrator desirable Proven success running campaigns end-to-end Strong copywriting and communication skills A creative, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset Experience in startup or high-growth environments is a plus Passion for brand-building and storytelling

You will be able to work to targets, feedback progress and ensure you get your tasks completed within demanding timescales. You will be able to prioritise your day efficiently and incorporate overlapping demands from other team members. We are a small team so if there is sickness or holiday, it's all hands on deck. You will need to help out with customer service, answering the phone, man the shop or even move a few boxes around. We all help out as necessary.

Who are we looking for

You will be enthusiastic, driven, ambitious, independent, creative and tenacious, friendly and self motivated. You will be able to form a marketing plan with targets and develop a plan of action for achieving your objectives. You will report your KPIs each month and work well with the team. You will be able to feedback to the office how you would intend to manage your project, tools you need and a plan for getting it done.

It's a really tough market out there!!! There are more and more competitors an competition direct from China via Temu and Amazon. We are not a cheap supermarket brand and we need someone who believes in the USP and is confident of driving this forward.

You are conscientious in detail but pragmatic in time. You love making things happen. You love communicating with words and images and you are passionate about brand awareness. You have a good understanding of culture and networking and an eye for a story and a trend.

You care passionately about the environment.

Day to day you can expect to...

Pitch in. It's a small business. Egalitarianism is our middle name - it's not btw but some days you may be dealing with customer emails or phone queries, sending out samples and even moving some boxes around

Formulate a creative socials plan and schedule it

Execute your marketing plan to achieve goals - this could be writing PR statements and distributing them, networking with other brands, strategizing on current affairs or planning photoshoots

Check your PPC performance and execute plans to improve KPI

Be a great team player - small teams that work together stay together

Collaborate and network - find partners where there is mutual benefit

You will need to have

A strong grasp of the English language for blog writing and PR writing

Inherent interest in the power of sales & marketing

Consideration of the environmental issues we are all facing

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Ability to work in a team, in a small business and fast paced environment

A great eye for advertising detail, content management and trends

A good level of competence working across digital media

High level of proficiency and experience with Microsoft office

Easy commutable distance of Southwick, Brighton

We are a little bit flexi on the working hours, 37.5hrs per week around core working hours
