We're looking for a Marketing Manager (Agency) to lead client and internal marketing strategies that deliver real results. You'll be working in a small but fast-paced team where your insights and ideas will help shape channel growth and influence wider marketing and business decisions. Working from our Head Offices in Cardiff, this role demands flexibility, creativity, and a collaborative approach to meet the business's evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:



Strategic Planning & Execution



Lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies for clients and internal campaigns, aligned with commercial goals and brand positioning. Work closely with the Head of Projects and Project Management & Implementation (PMI) Team to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans. Identify and leverage growth opportunities, staying ahead of digital trends and platform innovations.

Digital Campaign Management



Oversee the planning, design, implementation, and optimisation of paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Develop and manage SEO strategies and reporting, providing clients with meaningful insights and ongoing recommendations. Plan and execute engaging email and social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand tone, key messaging, and performance targets.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting



Measure, analyse, and report on campaign performance across all platforms, using ROI and KPI benchmarks to inform strategy. Provide regular client updates and internal reports on campaign outcomes, performance trends, and improvement opportunities. Report on KPI delivery monthly and quarterly, with insights and action plans for continuous improvement.

Department Management



Oversee all digital marketing project timelines, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. Manage and monitor project costs, ensuring hours and spend align with agreed scopes. Maintain strong communication with the PMI Team to ensure a seamless flow of updates and feedback between internal teams and clients.

Team Development & Collaboration



Lead, mentor, and develop the Digital Marketing Team, setting clear expectations for delivery, performance, and growth. Foster a collaborative working environment that supports innovation, creative thinking, and accountability. Actively contribute to team meetings, workshops, and internal development initiatives.

Continuous Improvement



Identify, evaluate, and implement more efficient marketing tools and processes to improve productivity and client satisfaction. Stay up to date with emerging digital technologies and share relevant insights with the wider team. Ensure all work adheres to the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and client alignment.
Carry out additional duties as required to support business goals and client success.

Person Specification



What we're looking for



Proven experience in a digital marketing leadership role, ideally within an agency environment. Strong understanding of digital strategy, paid media, SEO, analytics, and content marketing. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making. Strong team leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. Proficiency in digital tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and email marketing platforms. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive problem-solver.

Nice to Have



Bring a strong commercial mindset, understanding how marketing impacts business outcomes. Are confident in client-facing situations, including presentations and performance reviews. Are familiar with tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Looker Studio, or similar reporting dashboards. Know your way around Google Business Profiles and have experience with Local SEO. Have used CRM or automation platforms such as HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or Mailchimp. Can communicate effectively with developers or even dabble in a little HTML/CSS yourself. Hold certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or other relevant platforms. Love mentoring others and have experience growing and managing high-performing teams. Bring creativity to the table -- whether through copywriting, design, or fresh campaign ideas.

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
